Yoga is Universal. At the World Yoga Community, our mission is to utilize the teachings and philosophy of this ancient practice to spread well-being and peace amongst citizens of the global community. Using the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations as a guiding principle, we strive to promote physical, mental and spiritual wellness by encouraging the adoption of exercise and meditation. In lieu of this goal, we offer Yoga classes, workshops, conferences, satsangs, community events and festivals conducted by dependable Yoga teachers to initiate and sustain the practice of yogic techniques. We also offer opportunities for those interested to delve deeper and understand the philosophy governing Yoga by connecting them to Gurus who can impart this knowledge. We also work towards spreading awareness on key concepts related to sustainable living. We encourage and promote practices that further one's well-being whilst yielding minimal harm to the environment. We aim to unite the larger society by educating individuals on how they can attain the above through simple changes to one's lifestyle choices, such as dietary changes, waste disposal mechanisms and responsible consumption. Working with different ethnic groups, NGOs, associations and institutions, we thus propagate the adoption of Yoga as a way of life for the holistic development of the individual as well as society.
